About The Position

The role involves managing a caseload through all phases of pre-trial litigation, drafting legal documents, and engaging in depositions and trials. Requirements

• JD degree from an accredited law school and in good standing with the New York State Bar Association.
• 3-5 years of law firm litigation experience required.
• Strong critical thinking, writing, organization, and research skills (Lexis).
• Exceptional judgment and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

• Some trial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage own caseload through all phases of pre-trial litigation.
• Handle commercial litigation cases in construction and real estate matters in state and federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, discovery demands and responses, and complex motion papers.
• Conduct depositions and participate in trials.
