About The Position

Nicklaus Children's Hospital, a 325-bed freestanding children's hospital and ACS-verified Level 1 pediatric trauma center, and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the physician multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children's Health System, have an exceptional opportunity for a BC/BE pediatric hospitalist. Clinical duties include management of inpatient pediatric admissions and consultation on specialty patients. This is a permanent, full-time position. The physician candidate will be part of the Nicklaus Children’s Health System Pediatric Hospital Medicine team, which will be comprised of fellowship trained pediatric hospitalists at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital main campus. The physician will be able to partake in quality-improvement initiatives, academic endeavors and research opportunities, which are available to all members of the team. Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible
  • Fellowship trained PHM
  • Passionate about advocacy, equity, and improving care for medically complex children
  • Eager to work in an academic setting and contribute to our mission of teaching and clinical excellence
  • Applicants should possess a passion for advocacy and improving care for all children.
  • The physician candidate should be BC/BE in pediatric hospital medicine and board certified in General Pediatrics.
