Emergency Medicine Physician Department of Emergency Medicine Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Harvard Medical School Role Overview: The Department of Emergency Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, is seeking an academic Emergency Medicine attending physician to join our impressive faculty in Boston, MA. The candidate will be appointed to the faculty of Harvard Medical School at an academic rank commensurate with experience. Applicants should be dynamic and motivated academic Emergency Medicine physicians that will advance clinical excellence, scholarly inquiry, and medical education within a world-class academic medical center. As part of the dynamic team, you will be at the forefront of developing or building a specialized research area of research expertise. BIDMC is a rich environment for research with robust infrastructure (e.g. a standing clinical research team), support (e.g. IRB writer, statistical support, database support), and mentorship (multiple NIH RO1 funded investigators within the department) to assist in facilitating a successful research career. Requirements

• MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate clinical care in a high-acuity, urban academic emergency department.
• Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in academic activities including research, quality improvement, education, informatics, administration, or other scholarly pursuits aligned with your interests.
• Collaborate with a diverse and multidisciplinary team of emergency medicine professionals committed to advancing the field and improving patient outcomes.
• Contribute to the department’s academic and strategic goals through clinical service, scholarly engagement, and departmental leadership opportunities.
