About The Position

It is the responsibility of a Warehouse Person to Supervisor to direct and assist service staff, conduct necessary training, oversee service standards and ensure the delivery of exceptional service to the guests. It will also include the construction of shelving or racking or other related warehouse items duties related to the Warehouse. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. Delivers specific merchandise to a designated area on a timely basis. Cleans warehouse and its perspective areas as needed. Follows all safety requirements for the areas and while operating equipment. Unload trucks by hand or pallet jack. Inspect incoming merchandise for count, specification and quantity. Report any shortages or damage to the Inventory Control Supervisor. Stock or deliver received items to the appropriate area or department. Check, sign and electronically receive incoming and outgoing items. Date and rotate all incoming perishable food items. Maintain a clean and orderly workstation. Report any safety or OSHA violation to supervisor. Performs all other job-related duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow directions, effectively listen and verbally communicate in person and telephonically with management, co-workers, and guests.
  • Ability to lift, and move items, push a fully loaded cart and stand for a time period.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience using warehouse equipment.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
