About The Position

The Slot Attendant is responsible for providing superior service to all guests, performing minor repairs to gaming machines, troubleshooting machines, and documenting malfunctions that cannot be repaired at the machine level.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization.
• Mississippi State Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Prepares slot payoff requests and tax forms for jackpots, obtaining verification and payment as appropriate, in a manner consistent with MGC regulations, internal controls, and slot department operating procedures.
• Troubleshoots and repairs minor problems at the machine.
• Documents those repairs unable to fix at machine level.
• Responds to requests for information, changes large denomination currency into requested bills.
• Provides superior levels of guest service to both internal and external guests.
