Attendant, Pool Hut
About The Position
The Pool Hut Attendant greets Members and guests at the outdoor pool entrance. The Attendant creates a welcoming environment, checks-in guests, processes payments for passes and answers customer questions. The Pool Hut is open every day between Memorial Day and Labor Day from 11am to 8pm Daytime, evening and weekend shifts are available FREE access to The J's state-of-the art fitness center The J is committed to creating a diverse environment. Requirements
- At least 15 years old
- Basic customer service knowledge is a plus
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Personable and friendly
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Able to multi-task
- Requires constant standing and walking during shifts
- Must be able to bend, crouch, and lift/move/fold towels
Responsibilities
- Greet all J Members and guests in a timely and welcoming manner
- Use software to sell pool passes, check-in members and find information requested by customers
- Handle customer complaints/comments in a professional and courteous manner
- Understand and follow policies of The J and the Pool Hut
