About The Position
The attendant is responsible for assisting the OR team with equipment and supplies necessary to perform surgical procedures. They are the first responder to equipment needs, and are able to trouble shoot equipment. Attendants function under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the OR supervisor. Attendants have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
