About The Position

Wintergreen Resort Golf Guest Service Attendants are responsible for attending to guests of our golf facilities from arrival through departure and for providing personal attention and overall exemplary service. Duties may include handling of guest’s golf equipment and belongings, golf cart staging, care and upkeep; practice ball distribution, collection, and cleaning.

Requirements

• Have previous golf industry, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred)
• Be hospitality and customer service oriented, well-groomed, dependable, and responsible
• Have good verbal communication skills to provide a welcoming environment and quality experience for all members and guests.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests at bag drop warmly
• Be available to assist members and guests at all times
• Ensure bag room and cart areas remain clean at all times
• Clean and prepare golf carts for use (i.e. stock towels, tees, pencils, scorecards, etc.)
• Report any cart problems to mechanics and Professional Staff in a timely manner
• Ensure driving range is neatly set-up and stocked with range balls
• Maintain driving range and equipment
• Complete tasks in every phase of outside operations contributing to the success of the Wintergreen Golf Program
