About The Position

The Mezzanine Attendant is responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimum output and yield meeting or exceeding departmental goals and internal and external Customers' expectations. The position requires performing job functions in a safe manner at all times and ensuring the safety of coworkers. The Mezzanine Attendant must be able to support multiple racks as well as assigned racks when needed, and communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants when there are changes to production orders and quality concerns. Essential duties include performing quality inspections, adhering to Standard Operating Conditions and Procedures, troubleshooting winders, controlling quality by monitoring racks for visual defects, ensuring accurate labeling and weight of tubing, and properly identifying material being produced on winders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred.
  • Flexibility within a high-performance work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to work without close supervision.
  • Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained.

Responsibilities

  • Perform job functions in a safe manner at all times.
  • Work as a team member to ensure departmental goals and objectives are reached.
  • Support multiple racks as well as assigned racks when needed.
  • Communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants regarding production orders and quality concerns.
  • Perform quality inspections and adhere to Standard Operating Conditions and Procedures.
  • Troubleshoot winders and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Control quality by monitoring racks for visual defects.
  • Ensure accurate labeling and weight of tubing.
  • Properly identify material being produced on winders.
  • Perform all duties as directed by supervisor.
