About The Position

The primary function of the ATS Copper Installer is to perform assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of ATS equipment. Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
• Proven history of safe work habits
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, and/or repair Layout Copper.
• Install/Fabricate layout copper to accommodate customer connections.
• Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications.
• Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained.
• Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics.
• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others
