Windsor Hospitality is looking for their newest Host/Server This position is located at the Marriott in Walnut Creek, CA. Essential Responsibilities: Meet and greet guests as they arrive. Recomputes or computes bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due, using adding machine or cash register. Makes change, cashes checks, and issues receipts to customers. Records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions. Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verify against cash on hand. Read, maintain and make daily entries in the logbook to coordinate communication between shifts and management. May be required to know value and features of items for which money is received. May give cash refunds or issue credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise. May sell candy, cigarettes, gum and gift certificates. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property including wearing name identification badge. Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company. All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
