About The Position
We are looking for a highly skilled Ignition Developer with strong hands-on experience in building and supporting MES solutions using Inductive Automation Ignition. This role involves working in a Build & Run model, supporting both new MES launches and steady-state operations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in MES / manufacturing application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Inductive Automation Ignition, including: Vision and/or Perspective; Python scripting; Gateway configuration; Tags, alarms, historian.
- Experience implementing Ignition MES/ Sepasoft modules.
- Experience with MS SQL, REST APIs, MQTT, or web services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ignition-based MES applications.
- Develop Python scripts, event scripts, and gateway scripts to support MES functionality.
- Configure and manage Ignition tags, alarms, historians, and transactions.
- Implement and support Ignition MES modules such as Production, Quality, Downtime, Track & Trace, OEE Dashboards and Reports.
- Work in a Build & Run model, supporting both new MES launches and steady-state operations.
