Job Summary: A Service Technician will be traveling daily to customer sites within a designated territory, performing routine maintenance and repairs to customer core product lines of cash automation products, ATMs & ITMs. This position will ensure that these products are functioning properly and that any problems are addressed promptly. They may interact daily with customers or their designated contacts to ensure customer satisfaction with our services.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver’s License
Acceptable Driving Record
Administrative Skills: Proficient in computer software application such as Android app software to include but not limited to timecards, expenses, inventory control management.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues and has skills in disassembling & repairing assemblies.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of how to input settings & configure equipment. Provides feedback on product performance or issues and has knowledge of training principals and the ability to apply them to on-the-job-training.
Able to properly lift 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally. The highest point of any lift - overhead; the lowest point of any lift - the floor.
Able to move 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally.
Able to push/pull objects with moderate effort frequently. Maximum effort occasionally.
Able to sit and/or stand 2 hours continuously, up to 8 hours per day. Able to remain on feet for 2 hours continuously.
Must be able to manipulate small objects with close eye-hand and arm-hand coordination for entire shift.
Able to perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching out, twisting, turning, reaching up, wrist turning/torqueing for 2 hours continuously.
Able to effectively communicate with customer base, both orally and in writing.
Able to see objects closely, discriminate colors, perceive depth continuously.
Able to understand, relate to, and apply concepts on a continuous basis.
Able to remember multiple tasks / assignments given to self and others over long periods of time continuously.
Able to drive vehicle from site to site in order to provide technical support for our customers.
Driving requirements may be up to and including 4-6 hours per day and on occasion up to 10 hours.
Must be able to use power tools such as a drill or saw overhead.
Able to climb ladders up to 20 feet high

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for servicing customer equipment daily, by obtaining a request log from the service leader as to which clients are to be serviced.
Meets with customers onsite to obtain access to equipment.
Assesses performance of the equipment and determines what maintenance actions to apply.
Documents date and time of service, describing assessment of equipment and maintenance actions taken to the customer.
Submits maintenance notes to database for historical archiving.
Capable of independently identifying and resolving common technical problems with customer equipment.
Provides basic customer support using predefined scripts or knowledge bases and escalates complex issues to senior or master technicians.
Documents service calls, findings, recommendations, and repairs for each customer.
Tests and validates repairs to insure successful maintenance.
Completes daily administrative actions such as logging into the service app, checking records, recording time and attendance as per policy and checks in with manager routinely to obtain feedback and further direction.
May fill vehicle with fuel, and completes travel logs, submitting such in a timely manner to accounting.
Ensures that company vehicle is operating and stocked with appropriate. At the end of the day, locks up equipment and ensures company products are secured to avoid any theft.
