This position is based in the following office location: Manchester, NH The opportunity This temporary role is for the summer season and involves assisting with the daily operations in athletics, specifically the strength facility, gear issuance and retrieval, and daily operations. You will report to the Associate Athletic Director and Operations Managers. This onsite role is based on the main campus located in Manchester, NH.
Requirements
- 1+ years of related experience in the sports/athletics industry
Responsibilities
- Strength and Conditioning Space: Help manage the weight room at Penmen Stadium- cleaning up when closing the facility, signing in staff/athletes, and ensuring a clean and safe facility.
- Equipment Room: Assist with inventory, reconciliation, and billing to athletes with outstanding invoices. You will also monitor and record the distribution of gear and equipment to staff, faculty, and students when the equipment room is open for business.
- Events & Games: Assist with the game day operations/event management for all rentals held at the SNHU Facilities. This will include field prep, ticket sales, security, scoreboard operations, setting up tables and chairs, pulling tarps on fields, and assisting with other needs.
- Field Maintenance: You will help with the maintenance and preparation of the baseball, softball, soccer/lacrosse, and tennis courts for varsity practices and contests. These responsibilities can include hosting NHIAA events, Campus rentals, and other areas that might be included.
- Additional Duties: During the summer, you will also assist with summer camps, rentals, and other events that take place on campus.
