About The Position

The University of South Florida (USF), a member of the American Athletic Conference, is currently accepting applications for the position of Motion Graphic Designer. The position will be housed in the athletics external services department, while reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer. The selected candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment to deliver creative motion graphic assets for in game production, as well as digital and social media applications. Position will work with other design staff to advance and maintain brand identity through original and creative content. Candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment to advance the brand of USF Athletics and the university. Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, the USF Athletics Motion Graphic Designer candidate will be responsible for concept, design and production of motion graphic elements for LED features, video content and scoreboard related content across various sports programs. As part of the creative team, you will collaborate and support best practices in what’s new and next in motion graphics design. This individual will contribute to establishing and maintaining a consistent brand identity by coordinating with the design and video teams. They will be encouraged to explore creative boundaries to enhance the brand and participate in brainstorming innovative approaches for the motion graphics solutions for the campaigns and design concepts. The ideal candidate will have a solid record of motion graphics design work, a good understanding of sports and entertainment best practices, and awareness of motion graphics design trends in live events and the digital landscape. This role requires attention to detail, good organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to adapt in the dynamic environment of sports/entertainment. Adheres to all NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. May be required to work non-traditional work hours in the evenings and/or weekends as assigned.
