The position is for a Certified Athletic Trainer at Azusa Unified. The role involves providing athletic training services to student-athletes, ensuring their health and safety during athletic activities. The trainer will work closely with coaches, athletes, and medical professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.

  • Provide athletic training services to student-athletes.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.
  • Collaborate with coaches and medical professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments.
  • Educate athletes on health and safety practices.
  • Bachelor's degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) accredited Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) college or university.
  • Possession of a valid Class C or higher California Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
  • Possession of a valid Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer Certification.
  • Possession of a current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Professional Rescuer Certificate, or similar, accepted by the Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic Trainer.
  • One (1) year of experience working as a certified athletic trainer in an athletic training environment, preferably in a secondary school setting.
