Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers
• Valid state licensure or registration as required
• Proven experience in athletic training, sports medicine, or related healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, injury assessment, and rehabilitation techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Commitment to athlete safety, health, and well-being

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and rehabilitate injuries sustained by athletes and active individuals
• Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to specific sports and activities
• Provide emergency care and first aid during practices and competitions
• Collaborate with physicians, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all athletes
• Educate athletes on injury prevention, proper training techniques, and health maintenance
• Monitor athlete progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Stay current with advancements in sports medicine and athletic training techniques
