About The Position

The Athletic Trainer (AT) position is part of a contractual agreement with specified OhioHealth partner organizations across multiple sites. This role involves providing and coordinating patient care under the direction of a physician, managing daily clinical operations, engaging in community outreach, and facilitating intradepartmental communication. The athletic trainer must operate within the scope of practice defined by the Ohio Revised Code governing athletic training and adhere to the OT/PT/AT Board's licensing laws and regulations. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree: Athletic Training (Required)
ATC - Athletic Trainer Credential - Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer
LIC - Licensed in Field - State of Ohio
Certified in Ohio by the OT/PT/AT Board as a certified athletic trainer

Nice To Haves

Experience in school based sport related training

Responsibilities

Evaluates Athletic-related Injuries
Provides Athletic Care necessary before, during, and after events as outlined by the school district
Travels with athletic teams to away events depending on hours and availability of weekly scheduled hours
