About The Position

Requirements

• At least 2 years of working knowledge of athletic training domains including injury prevention, clinical evaluation, emergency care, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Four Year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Texas Athletic Trainer License.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical training required for Athletic Training Certification
• NATABOC certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform appropriate patient intake for a variety of medical and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations based on patient history and chief complaints.
• At the direction of the supervising physician, perform point of care testing and order diagnostic tests or follow-up care.
