Our Orthopedic Surgery specialists provide care for a broad spectrum of bone and joint injuries. We're here to treat conditions affecting ankles, feet, hands, shoulders, elbows, and spine, as well as musculoskeletal tumors. As an Athletic Trainer, you will coordinate prevention, assessment, treatment (including first aid), rehabilitation and reconditioning of injuries as set forth by the NATA Board of certification. You will provide all prescribed treatments and recommendations by the attending physician, communicate optimally with patients and other members of the healthcare team, and act as a liaison between the patient being treated and the attending physician. Additionally, you will complete appropriate continuing education to maintain your license and certification(s).
