Athletic Trainer - Orthopedics
About The Position
The Athletic Trainer is considered a member of the PMG Sports Medicine Team and provides direct clinical and administrative support to the Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician in the care of patients. Collaborates closely with school nurses, coaches, parents and other medical providers to provide exceptional care to student athletes and our community. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training, or combination of education/professional experience in a related field.
- Washington Athletic Trainer License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 2 years professional experience in one or more of the following: sports injury, high school/college athletics, sports medicine, or physical therapy.
Nice To Haves
- Master's Degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or other related field
