About The Position

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Athletic Trainer to join our growing team in this newly established clinic! The Athletic Trainer will ideally support the practice Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Our practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and we're looking for candidates who can provide flexible support to the team when needed. In this role, the Athletic Trainer will work directly with a provider in a 1-to-1 setting, ensuring the highest level of patient care. The Athletic Trainer assists with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients during office visits. There is potential to see up to 18 patients per day.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Athletic Training/Sports Medicine Program.
• Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Nice To Haves

• One year of ATC/physician extender experience.
• An associate's degree or completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Nursing Assistant certification or other healthcare preparation.
• Certification by the NATA as a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert same-day care through comprehensive evaluation and treatment for orthopedic or sports-related injuries.
• Assist with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients during office visits.
• Work directly with a provider in a 1-to-1 setting.
• Ensure the highest level of patient care.
