About The Position
Essentia Health has an excellent opportunity for an Athletic Trainer to join our team on a full-time basis in our Medical Orthopedics department! This is an experienced athletic training position with daily responsibilities to include the management and administration of physician practice, effectively anticipating needs and preferences of the provider, and being the liaison between multi-disciplinary health care team members. The role requires proficient use of Epic EMR, scheduling patient appointments per provider template, and managing patient throughput and triage. The Athletic Trainer will present pertinent patient information to the provider, aid in the flow of the clinic by communicating with the provider, patient, triage, and staff, reviewing patient charts, and providing patient education.
