Who you are: A licensed and certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) in Michigan with strong orthopedic evaluation skills and a working knowledge of ergonomic principles. A proactive self-starter who thrives working independently in fast-paced, industrial environments like food production or warehouse settings. A confident communicator with the ability to educate and lead wellness initiatives across diverse teams. An analytical thinker with the ability to assess risk, perform root cause analyses, and contribute to preventive strategies in workplace health. What you'll do: Provide on-site musculoskeletal injury prevention through ergonomic assessments, early symptom identification, and triage of low-level injuries. Design and implement injury prevention and wellness programs including stretching routines, job rotations, and ergonomic adjustments. Conduct post-offer, pre-employment testing, and support incident investigations in collaboration with safety teams. Serve as a visible, trusted resource across the facility, offering education, fitness training, and support beyond clinical duties as needed.
