About The Position

At Industry Health Solutions (IHS), we’re not here to do average—we’re here to make a measurable impact. As a key member of our occupational health team, you’ll step into a dynamic, on-site clinical setting where your expertise in injury prevention, musculoskeletal health, and ergonomic screening makes a direct difference in employee well-being. You’ll work closely with dedicated safety professionals, clinicians, and company partners to build and support a proactive injury prevention culture. Join a purpose-driven team where clinical excellence, innovation, and compassion drive every decision—and where your growth is backed by continued education, certification opportunities, and meaningful support. Who you are: A licensed and certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) in Michigan with strong orthopedic evaluation skills and a working knowledge of ergonomic principles. A proactive self-starter who thrives working independently in fast-paced, industrial environments like food production or warehouse settings. A confident communicator with the ability to educate and lead wellness initiatives across diverse teams. An analytical thinker with the ability to assess risk, perform root cause analyses, and contribute to preventive strategies in workplace health. What you’ll do: Provide on-site musculoskeletal injury prevention through ergonomic assessments, early symptom identification, and triage of low-level injuries. Design and implement injury prevention and wellness programs including stretching routines, job rotations, and ergonomic adjustments. Conduct post-offer, pre-employment testing, and support incident investigations in collaboration with safety teams. Serve as a visible, trusted resource across the facility, offering education, fitness training, and support beyond clinical duties as needed.
