About The Position

Overview Evaluate, advise, treat, and educate athletes who experience athletic related injuries or illnesses to maintain peak physical fitness. Travel with team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention- maintenance and assistance. Job Description Document patient/athlete response to treatment and progress towards goals. Perform therapeutic interventions by accepted standards of care and within department policies and procedures. Provides effective instruction to the patient/athlete and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Assist the department in achieving financial goals. Travels with the team (s). Other Requirements A recent graduate from an accredited Athletic Trainer program may begin work with a provisional license, to practice athletic training under the supervision and control of a licensed athletic trainer, which will expire six months from the issuance or upon licensure as an athletic trainer by the board, whichever comes first. Requirements

  • Bachelors in Athletic Training required
  • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Certification required
  • BLS required within 90 days
  • 40 hrs of clinical experience required
