About The Position

The Athletic Trainer provides rehabilitation services to professional, competitive, and recreational athletes under the supervision of a consulting physician. The Athletic Trainer functions as part of a team, including coaches, physicians, athletes, and rehabilitation staff to prevent injuries, provide post injury management, and conduct injury prevention programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an athletic training education program accredited by CAATE.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certification as an Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.
• Licensed as an Athletic Trainer by the State of Wisconsin.
• Valid State of Wisconsin driver's license with an acceptable record.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Experience providing service to high school athletes.
• National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).
• Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES).
• National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
