The Athletic Facilities and Event Management Graduate Assistantship has facilities and event management, leadership, communication, writing, and decision making components. The Athletic Facilities and Event Management Graduate Assistant will assist the athletics facilities, events and recreation manager with the management of the athletic facilities and home events serving all 26 varsity athletic teams; assist with supervising facility attendant and event staff; assist with facility and staff scheduling; gain a working knowledge of athletic department operations and assist in other areas as requested. Additional duties will be set according to the strengths of the Graduate Assistant and the needs of the varsity sports programs and athletic administration. These duties will focus on facility management, and event management.
