Position performs park maintenance for JCPRD sports fields, including baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. This position also performs building maintenance as applicable. Responsible for maintaining all outdoor fields and indoor courts at a level of excellence to ensure safe play and patron satisfaction. Eligible candidates will be responsible for maintenance tasks that include trash collection and removal, cleaning and stocking restrooms, performing daily and routine facility preparation tasks, and overall facility maintenance. Grounds work includes string trimming, mowing, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance. Facility Maintenance to include window cleaning, power washing, setting up for sporting events, floor care, and restroom cleaning. Candidates will be trained to operate equipment including trimmers, blowers, mowers, utility carts, tractors, cleaning equipment, as well as various hand tools. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

Requirements

Minimum age 18
Basic Knowledge of field maintenance and grounds keeping equipment
Indoor and outdoor work
You must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record
Flexible work schedule: Able to work various hours including nights and weekends as required by the facility
JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions

Responsibilities

Maintaining all outdoor fields and indoor courts
Trash collection and removal
Cleaning and stocking restrooms
