About The Position
Palm Aire is one of Sarasota’s most respected private clubs, featuring two championship golf courses, multiple racquet sports facilities, a full fitness center and a welcoming membership community. Located just minutes from downtown Sarasota and the Gulf beaches, it’s a great place to work, grow, and be part of something special. Work outdoors, stay active, and earn great experience in a beautiful setting! We are looking for a Part-Time Athletic Center Maintenance Assistant to help keep our tennis, pickleball, padel courts, swimming pool, and gym in top shape. This is a weekend position that’s perfect for college or high school students who enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and working in a positive, team-oriented environment. No two days are the same — one day you might be brushing clay courts, the next you’re helping prep for a poolside event!
Requirements
- Can work weekends (this is a weekend-focused position).
- Don’t mind being active — lots of walking, sweeping, lifting and moving gear.
- Don’t melt in the Florida sunshine ?? (you’ll be outdoors a lot!).
- Can lift up to 50–80 lbs when needed (water jugs, equipment, etc.).
- Are reliable, responsible and show up when you say you will.
- Can learn simple tools and maintenance tasks.
- Enjoy physical work more than sitting still.
- Have a friendly attitude and can chat politely with members.
- Like jobs where the day goes by fast because you’re always moving.

Responsibilities
- Help keep all courts, the pool and fitness areas clean, safe and member-ready.
- Brush and line courts, refill coolers, tidy up patios and wipe down equipment.
- Sweep pool decks, straighten furniture and make sure everything looks inviting.
- Assist the Racquet Sports team with event setup and light maintenance.
- Keep an eye on weather conditions and report changes to staff as needed.
- Be the friendly face members see while enjoying their day at the Club!
