About The Position

The IT Department is seeking to hire a systems architect/developer to provide strategic and day-to-day software support for the Agency's main adjudications systems. Duties include but are not limited to: Coordinate periodic maintenance for all software within the application stack to comply with security and compatibility requirements. Perform corrections and updates to code and data as needed to respond to reported issues or testing results. Ensure accuracy and distribution of reports and correspondence. Design, develop new UI screens, and integrate the user defined rules into the application. Manage the electronic data transmissions from upstream and downstream entities. HYBRID OFFICE / REMOTE WORK SCHEDULE AVAILABLE AFTER INITIAL TRAINING PERIOD.

Requirements

  • Current professional/vendor certifications
  • Master's degree in computer science or a related field and 12 months of specialized experience in computer applications development
  • Baccalaureate degree and 24 months of specialized experience in computer applications development
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 24 months of specialized experience plus 48 months of information technology experience
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma and 24 months of specialized experience
