About The Position
Visiting Angels of Lindsay is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and dependable At Home Senior Caregiver to join our team in the Porterville, CA area. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that seniors can age gracefully in the comfort of their own homes. This position involves providing personal care and companionship to clients, assisting them with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. You will be responsible for meal planning, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and healthy living environment for the clients. Your observations of the clients' physical, emotional, and mental conditions will be vital, as you will need to report any changes to the appropriate parties. Keeping accurate records of your activities while in the client's home is also a key responsibility. In this role, you will not only provide essential non-medical care but also offer a sense of security and companionship to your clients. You will assist with light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders, ensuring that clients receive the support they need to live independently. Communication is essential, and you will need to coordinate your availability with the Scheduler on a weekly basis or as required.
