About The Position

TRIA Orthopedic Urgent Care is seeking a LPN/MA/EMT/ATC to work in our fast paced environment. Patients range from children to elderly patients with a wide range of acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. TRIA Orthopedic Urgent Care is open 7 days per week 8-8 and closed all major holidays. The position will work 12 hour shifts with a weekend rotation. 1 year orthopedic experience preferred but will train the right candidate. Utilizing broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices, aids providers in accordance with PNHS standard and policies.

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. One or more years of nursing experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
  • Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES. One or more years of experience desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current MN EMT License. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
  • Athletic Trainer (ATC): Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer required. Current license with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice required. NATA member in good standing. Must have a valid NPI number.

Nice To Haves

  • One or more years of experience desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
