The Sinclair Astronomy Department offers students an out-of-this-world opportunity to explore the universe and understand our place in it. Using the laws of physics, chemistry, biology, and geology, astronomers study the Earth as a planet and everything beyond its atmosphere. The department prepares students with broad problem-solving skills applicable to careers in education, research, industry, and public outreach.
