About The Position

Assurance Managers play a critical leadership role in managing client relationships while overseeing audit and assurance engagements to ensure high-quality work products are delivered in accordance with professional standards and firm policies. This includes: Leading audit and assurance engagements, including resolution of complex accounting matters. Performing detailed technical reviews of reports with full disclosures. Reviewing and overseeing preparation, compilation, and review engagements. Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Coordinating internal and external resources to meet engagement timelines and client expectations. Managing multiple engagements concurrently. Reviewing and consulting on complex transactions. Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff. Delegating work effectively and ensuring performance standards are met. Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional firm services. Adhering to firm policies and holding team members accountable.

Requirements

  • CPA required.
  • 8+ years of public accounting experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and SSARS.
  • Strong technical review and analytical skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proven leadership and client relationship experience.
