About The Position
The Risk Advisory Services Intern is an integral part of the team, responsible for collaborating with seasoned professionals to deliver risk consulting and issue resolution to clients. This role encompasses a variety of tasks that support internal audits, SOX compliance, business process improvements, information technology assessments, and fraud investigations. As an intern, you will engage in multiple phases of an internal audit or consulting project, contributing to planning, fieldwork, engagement wrap-up, and report writing. In this position, you will assist in conducting informational interviews and facilitating meetings with clients, ensuring effective communication throughout the engagement process. You will gather essential information, documents, and data from clients to aid in the analysis and resolution of their issues. With guidance from experienced Risk Advisory Services professionals, you will document and analyze client processes, risks, and controls, helping to develop initial deliverables and solutions tailored to client needs. Utilizing various research tools, databases, and industry publications, you will deepen your understanding of the client's industry, which will be crucial in drafting proposals and maintaining comprehensive documentation and work papers associated with client engagements.
