If you want to be part of an industry that literally keeps the world running, this is your opportunity. ___________________________ WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Assistant Shipping & Receiving Manager, you’ll support daily warehouse operations and ensure products move efficiently, accurately, and safely through our facility. Key responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • Prior Supervisory experience.
  • Forklift experience or certification (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills—this role is customer-facing.
  • Reliable attendance and consistent, legible handwriting.
  • Basic computer and typing skills.
  • Ability to lift 1–70 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with teams and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Security: This position operates within a secure manufacturing facility. All employees must adhere to strict security policies, including restrictions on personal electronic devices, access control, and documentation procedures.
  • The Lindgren Group must comply with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). These regulations may restrict persons of non-US citizen status from working/participating/observing/or other forms of gathering knowledge about certain activities within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to load/unload trucks and move materials throughout the plant.
  • Locate, package, and ship finished goods—including all required documentation (certifications, packing lists, labels, etc.).
  • Receive incoming customer work and vendor products, verifying paperwork and ensuring proper routing.
  • Stage materials for production, deliver scheduled orders to the production floor, and retrieve completed orders.
  • Load outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and complete order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Ensure proper order entry documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assist the Department Manager with coordinating UPS, local delivery services, and LTL shipments.
  • Provide customer-focused communication and support.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support department and company goals.
