About The Position

Provide support to Shift Supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous production experience is a must, preferably in an injection molding environment.
• The associate must have the ability to run all injection molding machines and have a strong understanding of the utility position.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook)
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

Nice To Haves

• Basic SAP is preferred as daily use of SAP may be required in this position.

Responsibilities

• Remains highly visible on the shop floor, coordinating assignments of all production personnel.
• Assigns work locations and tasks.
• Responsible for proper staffing of the production lines.
• Schedules breaks and lunches for production personnel.
• Ensures that all manufacturing orders are completed on time.
• Ensures that all products produced meet all quality standards and customer requirements.
• Assists with ensuring efficient labor and machine performance is met and maintained.
• Oversees and participates in line clearance events and follows the ‘Line Preparation and Clearance” procedure.
• Assists with ensuring efficient labor and machine performance is met and maintained.
• Coordinates problem solving / rework efforts
• Assists with personnel performance management issues and progressive discipline if warranted.
