High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous production experience is a must, preferably in an injection molding environment.
The associate must have the ability to run all injection molding machines and have a strong understanding of the utility position.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook)
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

Basic SAP is preferred as daily use of SAP may be required in this position.
Responsibilities
Remains highly visible on the shop floor, coordinating assignments of all production personnel.
Assigns work locations and tasks.
Responsible for proper staffing of the production lines.
Schedules breaks and lunches for production personnel.
Ensures that all manufacturing orders are completed on time.
Ensures that all products produced meet all quality standards and customer requirements.
Assists with ensuring efficient labor and machine performance is met and maintained.
Oversees and participates in line clearance events and follows the ‘Line Preparation and Clearance” procedure.
Assists with ensuring efficient labor and machine performance is met and maintained.
Coordinates problem solving / rework efforts
Assists with personnel performance management issues and progressive discipline if warranted.
