About The Position

The Assistant General Restaurant Manager (ARGM) plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the restaurant, working closely under the Restaurant General Manager (RGM). This position is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Church's initiatives, achieving financial sales goals, and maintaining operational standards. The ARGM assists in training staff, managing schedules, and overseeing compliance with company policies and local regulations, all while delivering high-quality customer service.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.
  • ServSafe® food safety training is highly recommended.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of valid insurance.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends.
  • Knowledge of restaurant policies, practices, and operational procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for professional interaction at all levels.
  • Knowledge of profit and loss statements.
  • Ability to implement policies and procedures.
  • Skilled in developing employees through coaching and counseling.
  • Ability to supervise others and manage conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant General Manager in training all employees.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing and prepare weekly schedules.
  • Help staff during high volume periods as needed.
  • Administer all paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and meet established sales plans.
  • Maintain and record accurate inventory.
  • Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean facility at all times.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality products daily, every shift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
