About The Position

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible to support the Project Managers in planning, developing, and organizing all design efforts of field construction activities. This role is crucial in understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy, which emphasizes Employees, Value, Execution, and Relationships.

Requirements

  • A working knowledge of construction management at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Two years' experience in construction management, estimating and/or craft experience in similar facility construction.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule.
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
  • Must have safe driving record and a valid driver's license according to legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct project activities from initial bid to project closeout.
  • Plan and organize schedules/resources/procurement of materials for various projects.
  • Ensure assigned projects/tasks are completed timely and with high level of accuracy and quality.
  • Participate in regular review/revisions of systems and procedures with the end goal of improving productivity.
  • Monitor fieldwork execution/progress and report on productivity against budget.
  • Estimate and negotiate projects including change orders.
  • Project document control, Request for Information (RFI's), Supplemental Information (SI's), Submittals, and Drawing and Spec review.
  • Work with industry vendors for project quotes and purchasing.
  • Manage all jobs closeout procedures.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
