Organizational Summary: The Department ( https://www.usf.edu/engineering/me/ ) has 30 full-time faculty members and offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, as well as a minor in Aerospace Engineering. The Department's faculty members collaborate with all departments in the College of Engineering, as well as the Colleges of Medicine, Arts & Sciences, Marine Science, Education, Nursing, and Public Health. Responsibilities Position Summary: The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida invites applications for the following: A non-tenure track faculty position in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. Applicants with backgrounds in aeronautics and astronautics, as well as in all areas of mechanical engineering, are encouraged to apply. The position is available at the Assistant Professor of Instruction levels and is expected to commence in the Summer/Fall of 2026.
