Assistant Store Managers are crucial to store success, partnering with the Store Manager to develop team members, provide excellent customer service, and communicate company values, vision, and mission. This role requires navigating a complex business to satisfy customers and develop team members amidst competing business priorities. The Assistant Store Manager works closely with the Store Manager to align the business with company, employee, and community interests, developing and engaging team members, and achieving revenue goals. They assist in all business aspects, including selecting team members passionate about the brand, maintaining high training standards, motivating the team, and addressing customer and team member needs. The role also involves cultivating awareness of industry trends and aiding in day-to-day operations such as training, sales, visual merchandising, inventory management, store administration, and customer service. Additionally, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for opening and closing the store, securing assets, planning labor schedules, maintaining security systems, and acting as Store Manager in their absence.
