About The Position

Thank you for your interest in employment with Louisiana Tech University. Louisiana Tech University is seeking candidates for Assistant Football Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Collegiate playing experience and/or coaching experience and a working knowledge of Conference USA and NCAA regulations are also preferred. Candidate must have experience in recruiting and coaching at the Division I level. Candidate must also have sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to athletic and academic success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the Head Football Coach in the day-to-day operations of a Division I program, ensure that the Football program demonstrates a commitment to academics and to maintain compliance with NCAA, C-USA, Louisiana Tech University, and State of Louisiana rules and regulations, recruit student-athletes for Louisiana Tech University, promote Tech Athletics through functions and events, perform additional duties as assigned by the University.
