Asst. Director/Therapist - Cottonwood
About The Position
This position is located at our Cottonwood Residential Program in Ashford, AL Monday - Friday 8am-4pm with on call after hours work, including evenings, holidays and weekends. The Assistant Director / Therapist or Counselor in this position will be responsible for providing services to consumers of our Cottonwood Residential program and serve as an Assistant to the Cottonwood Director. Will assist the Program Director as needed with managing the staff and day to day administrative operation of the program. This position will serve as a backup to the Director of Cottonwood in their absence and will rotate on call with Program Director, which will require on call hours, including weekends and/or evening work. Conducting BLS individual and group Update consumer records and information using an electronic clinical record system Provide education on mental illness and treatment to consumers as necessary and appropriate
Requirements
- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Completion of a clinical practicum
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Prefer two years post masters experience providing therapy.
- Licensure in the State of Alabama as an LPC, LICSW or LMFT is preferred but not required.
