About The Position

The Assistant Director of Risk Adjustment Member Engagement and Planning at Cambia is responsible for ensuring the best care for Cambia's members and the most accurate risk scores. This role involves planning, executing, and overseeing performance in collaboration with other areas on various member engagement programs. The Assistant Director will lead long-range strategic planning for the Risk Adjustment department and manage the implementation of various strategic projects, all aimed at creating a person-focused health care experience. As a people leader, the Assistant Director is expected to support their team and foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field.
  • 7 years of experience in Healthcare or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years' experience in risk adjustment leadership, including member engagement and program leadership.
  • 3-5 years of strategic planning experience, including operational models and financial analysis.
  • Constant drive to improve results for members and a proactive bias toward action.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and oversight to achieve long-term performance from the team.
  • Lead the development, planning, implementation, and oversight of member engagement programs.
  • Collaborate with other member-facing functions to ensure a coordinated approach that engages members and improves health outcomes.
  • Proactively develop KPIs, reporting, and tools to understand drivers of success or limitations.
  • Create a long-range planning function for risk adjustment to ensure appropriate strategic direction.
  • Lead staff providing planning, implementation, and KPI reporting support for new strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrate experience working with third-party service providers and leading a matrix structure.
