About The Position

The Assisted Director of Facilities is responsible for directing the daily work activities of the Facilities Engineering Department staff; engaged in the operation, maintenance, and the repair of the entire physical plant including buildings, grounds, utility systems, and equipment. Develops departmental policies and procedures and manages their implementation in accordance with departmental strategic objectives or initiatives. Prepares staffing and budgetary plans, and manages resources to achieve department goals. Performs general managerial duties such as supervising staff, planning, scheduling, budgeting, data analysis, reporting, and performing presentations. Represents the department to customers and the Hospital to patients, visitors, or interested parties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Business or related field.
• 20 years of comparable experience in medical facilities.
• 10 years at a manager or above level in Facilities.
• 15 years related work experience, including 10 years in a supervisory capacity.
• CHFM certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
