About The Position

Extra-curricular activities are a valuable extension of the student experience. As an Assistant Tennis Coach, you will inspire, motivate, and teach students tennis-specific skills while fostering positive character traits and building meaningful relationships with athletes both on and off the court.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and coaching tennis.
• Knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and match strategies.
• Completion of 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting team practices and drills.
• Provide individualized coaching to athletes, focusing on technique and strategy.
• Support the Head Coach in managing team dynamics and match preparation.
• Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among athletes.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices and competitions.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff.
