About The Position

The Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor of Educational Leadership is a full-time, non-tenure-track position at Northern Kentucky University, focused on developing and teaching graduate courses in educational leadership. The role requires an on-campus presence for faculty meetings, teaching, and participation in university events. The successful candidate will contribute to the launch of a new online Ed.D. program, aiming to empower educational leaders and address complex societal challenges through innovative teaching and community engagement.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in educational leadership, higher education, P-12 administration, organizational leadership, or a related field.
• Proven record of innovative thinking about leadership effectiveness.
• Experience in online teaching and course development.
• Leadership experience in P-12 or higher education.
• Active engagement with community-based practitioners.
• Passion for guiding and teaching doctoral students in action-based scholarship.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop graduate courses in educational leadership.
• Connect teaching, research, and service to leadership practice in the field.
• Facilitate capstone projects for graduate students.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program initiatives.
• Engage in community and university service activities.
• Participate in outreach activities to promote the program.
