Requirements

• Medical Doctor Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in managing hematological disorders, including bleeding, clotting, platelet disorders and sickle cell disease.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in a hematology/oncology clinic setting in Lubbock, Texas.
• Building the hematology service line to expand the faculty portfolio for the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Training Program.
• Participate in educating future healthcare providers.
• Conduct research.
• Participate in quality improvement.
• Engage in advocacy to ensure patients receive high-value, comprehensive, team-based care that is flexible and responsive to new healthcare delivery models.
