About The Position

Sells and promotes PCC products to guests visiting the various retail sales locations while maintaining a clean attractive work area. Achieves sales goals on a consistent basis. Applies quality customer service concepts and practices when processing, exchanging or upgrading guests’ purchases. Interacts with guests by answering questions and addressing concerns.

Requirements

  • Must have a good knowledge of the various activities and services provided at the Polynesian Cultural Center and excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be in good health and be capable of a full range of body movement and lift 25-50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Must be fluent in the English language in both written and oral communication.
  • Must know how to use a personal computer.
  • Should be a high school graduate or the equivalent.
  • Must exemplify the University Honor Code, including the dress and grooming principles and expectations.
  • Must attach resume and semester class schedules (weekly view)
  • All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in a foreign language is highly desirable but not required.
  • Previous sales experience highly desirable.
  • Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks.
